Bet365 Joins the Sports Betting Alliance

The Sports Betting Alliance has welcomed bet365 as its newest member. Bet365’s addition, effective June 10, marks the first expansion of the organization’s membership since its founding in 2021.

Since its inception four years ago, the Sports Betting Alliance (SBA) consisted of four members, all of which are among the largest gambling companies in the United States:

  • FanDuel
  • DraftKings
  • Fanatics Sportsbook
  • BetMGM

The alliance aims to advocate for a transparent, regulated, and competitive gambling market in all fifty U.S. states. Members operate only in licensed markets and also support responsible gaming.

With the addition of bet365, a new member joins for the first time since the organization was founded. According to Chairman Jeremy Kudon, this strengthens the SBA’s position within the legal American sports betting market. Kudon stated in a press release:

“bet365 shares the SBA’s commitment to a regulated, transparent, and sustainable American online gaming market. Together, we will continue to fight for more states to exchange their dangerous and unregulated sports betting and iGaming products for regulated, consumer-protected legal platforms.”

Jeremy Kudon, Chairman SBA

Trip Stoddard, vice president of sportsbook at bet365, is pleased that the gambling company is joining SBA:

“Becoming a member of the Sports Betting Alliance is a fantastic step for us and a step forward for our presence in the United States. We look forward to working with our fellow SBA members to eradicate illegal and unregulated betting and bring regulated sports betting to all 50 states.”

Trip Stoddard, Vice President of Sportsbook at bet365

Bet365’s Association with Multiple Industry Organizations

Bet365 is also affiliated with industry associations in other regions.

Bet365 is also a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). This is a large international trade association of bookmakers who have jointly taken up the fight against match-fixing and spot-fixing in sports matches. When one of the affiliated bookmakers sees suspicious betting patterns, they report this to a special monitoring and warning platform.
