Novomatic, an Austrian gaming technology provider, announced that Novovision, its casino management system (CMS), has been implemented at the historic Casino Estoril, located in the Lisbon district of Portugal.
The company highlighted that the Portuguese land-based operator has incorporated the system “as the new future-proof backbone for its business, maximizing both service and customer experience.”
Novovision was implemented with “a suite of premium functionalities, enhancing business processes as well as the player experience with the multiple tools of NV core, access, payment, promotion, smart, tables and much more,” Novomatic stated.
Furthermore, according to the provider, its new self-registration terminals “facilitate quick access for players to the gaming floor, maintaining the highest security standards.” To enter the casino floors, players can choose between accepting biometric registration via fingerprint or facial scanning with a card, or they will receive a unique ticket with a QR code that entitles them to pass through the NV access doors.
In addition, most of the gaming tables have been equipped with facial recognition equipment, and all electronic gaming machines are equipped with Novovision player tracking modules which, according to Novomatic, allow “a seamless gaming experience, with customers’ player account instantly available at their fingertips.”
Maximum ease of play is supported by precise allocation of promotional points and additional loyalty features in the Novovision Promotion Tower. “At the same time, the casino benefits from accurate accounting and player tracking data at the touch of a button and in real time,” the company highlighted.
The system installation at Casino Estoril was carried out in full operation and went live in mid-February. For both casinos, Estoril Sol has also opted for full biometric functionalities, as well as BI, the NV smart notifier app for its staff, full marketing and loyalty features, and the customized QR access solution.
The game offering includes more than 490 slot machines, in addition to poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and the typical Portuguese dice game French Bank. It is a casino with a rich history, deeply rooted in the world of entertainment and international entertainment and very popular with local customers and tourists.
