Concerns Rise Over Illegal Online Casinos Targeting Vulnerable Players
In recent years, concerns have been growing in the Netherlands regarding illegal online casinos that target vulnerable players. These illegal providers particularly focus on players registered with Cruks (the Dutch self-exclusion register) or those seeking to gamble larger amounts, bypassing measures like deposit limits.
A project highlighting this issue, focusing on casinos operating without Cruks registration and without a license, has been nominated for an iGB Affiliate Award.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Troxy Theatre in London. The festive evening is part of iGBL!VE, which will be held on July 2 and 3, 2025, at Excel London. In previous years, Amsterdam welcomed the international gambling industry for iGB L!VE, but last year was the last time before it moved from the Dutch capital to London.
