It is worth mentioning that this launch comes amid a controversy over the lack of regulation of online betting in Chile. Recently, the Prosecutor’s Office of this country decided to close the case that accused the illegality of online betting houses. However, the Chilean Association of Casinos and Games (ACCJ) warned that the closure of the criminal case “does not make online betting platforms legal.”
