Casino Mediterráneo, of the Acrismatic Group, announced that its establishment in Villajoyosa reopened its doors this Thursday, February 13, after being closed for 15 years.
Described by some local media as a mythical place in the Spanish province of Alicante, it is now a completely renovated space with a 2,098 m2 area, divided into different areas for gaming, leisure, poker tournaments, gastronomy, and art exhibitions.
The Acrismatic Group, an authorized land-based and online operator in that country and who was in charge of the remodeling and reopening works, assured that the place promises to offer “an unparalleled gaming experience” in the capital of the Marina Baja region.
“The Acrismatic Group’s effort to condition the room has been significant and after many months of hard and intense work, its doors are ready to open,” the company said in a statement issued before the reopening.
In the space, visitors can enjoy the latest on the market in slot machines, as well as Black Jack tables, Caribbean Poker, Mini Punto Banco, Texas Holdem and American Roulette.
In addition, the casino has a Poker Room equipped with 13 tournament tables with capacity for 130 players, where the most important tournaments in the country will be held.
The new room also houses a gastronomic space, thanks to the Azar La Vila Joiosa Restaurant. On the other hand, the place will focus on art and culture, as the exhibition hall will host works by emerging and established artists from the province.
It is estimated that the reopening will bring a positive impact on local employment, as it allowed the creation of 77 new jobs in different areas such as customer service, catering, security or maintenance, among others.
Casino Mediterráneo Villajoyosa is located on the old national road 332 Valencia Alicante km 141.5, S/N La Vila Joiosa and is the fifth of the casinos that the Acrismatic Group has in the province of Alicante.
