For over four hours, several Dutch bookmakers struggled with a malfunction on the day of the Eredivisie’s denouement. The cause of the malfunction is still unclear, but the casino platform used appears to be the common denominator.

Last Sunday, a lot was at stake in the Eredivisie. On the last matchday, the title race was still wide open, with both PSV and Ajax still having a chance to become champions. The battle for the play-off spots for European football was also not over, as several teams could still finish in 8th and 9th place in the standings. A matchday that received a lot of attention and was therefore also interesting for sports betting enthusiasts.

Dutch gamblers who wanted to place a bet on the last matchday of the Eredivisie noticed on Sunday morning that this was not possible everywhere. Several legal online casinos struggled with a malfunction on Sunday. When players tried to log in, they often received a message stating that their username and password had not been entered correctly.

Among the websites that struggled with a malfunction were BetCity, Jacks, Betnation, 711, and ComeOn. A message soon appeared on the 711 website stating that Cruks was temporarily unavailable. Other legal bookmakers, on the other hand, did not seem to be experiencing the same malfunction.

ORYX Gaming

The common denominator in this issue seems to be the platform used by the mentioned gambling sites. All of the mentioned providers use the platform of ORYX Gaming, which is part of the Bragg Gaming Group.

The malfunction appeared to be resolved during the kick-off of the last matchday, around 2:30 PM. As a result, the bookmakers in question had been unavailable for approximately 4.5 hours.
