In an effort to consolidate the country as “the epicenter of gaming in Central America and the Caribbean,” the Executive Secretary of the Gaming Control Board (JCJ) of Panama, Ventura Vega Batista, announced institutional support for SAGSE Central America and the Caribbean 2025, an event that will take place on May 6, 7 and 8 at the Sortis Hotel Casino & Convention Center.

“The gaming sector is an important pillar for the Panamanian economy, and represents a key opportunity to promote the responsible and regulated development of the industry in our region. SAGSE Central America and the Caribbean is an event that highlights Panama’s potential as the gaming HUB, and from the Gaming Control Board we fully support this initiative that promotes innovation, investment and international cooperation,” said Vega Batista.

With this collaboration, the JCJ reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable growth of the gaming sector, supporting events that promote networking, professionalization and responsible gaming, its organizers assured.

Alan Burak, Vice President of SAGSE, said that the organization is “deeply grateful for the support of the Gaming Control Board of Panama, which validates the positive impact of SAGSE on the gaming industry.”

According to the organization, SAGSE Panama 2025 will bring together more than 1,500 attendees, and will feature the participation of the main players in the industry, who will present technological innovations, market trends and business opportunities. Among the highlighted activities of the event are:

SAGSE Academy: Master lectures on trends and strategies.

SAGSE EXPO: Exhibition space in which the main manufacturers and suppliers of the industry will participate.

Exclusive Social Events: Gala dinner, tournaments and high-level networking activities.

In addition, those responsible for the call expressed their conviction that, thanks to its strategic location and unparalleled connectivity, Panama connects more than 85 international destinations with more than 370 daily flights, consolidating itself as a natural meeting point for the gaming industry in the region.

The JCJ will continue working hand in hand with events such as SAGSE, to ensure that Panama remains at the forefront of gaming in Latin America, promoting transparency, economic development and social responsibility,” concluded Vega Batista.
