A resident of Brunssum was close to the Jackpot of € 101 million on Tuesday evening at the draw of the Eurojackpot. The Dutch player only missed one bonus number for the absolute jackpot, and thus had to settle for a cash prize of € 394,405.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, there was a new draw of the Eurojackpot, where the Jackpot had since risen to € 101 million. To win this jackpot, a player must predict the five regular numbers and two bonus figures well.

A resident from Brunssum came very close to winning this dizzying amount at the Eurojackpot, because the player predicted five numbers plus one bonus number well. As a result, the participant missed out on a hair after the jackpot, but he or she assured himself of a beautiful cash prize of € 394,405.
Bjorn Rosner, prize winner counselor at the Dutch Lottery, responded as follows when the Dutch winner responded:

The winner from Brunssum is known to the Dutch Lottery because he or she had bought the fate online. The player still has to pay 34.2% gambling tax on the amount won of almost four tons, because this concerns a gross price.
A month ago the big jackpot went out at a draw of the Eurojackpot. A Swedish player thus won the biggest lottery jackpot in Swedish history. During the draw of Eurojackpot, the player from Sweden insured himself of no less than 1.25 billion Swedish crowns (€ 115,498,695).
The main prize fell twice in the Netherlands in the past, although anything has never been announced about one of the two Dutch winners. The other Dutch winner won on January 6, 2017 together with four other players each € 18 million.
