SAGSE Central America & Caribbean Returns in 2026 with Focus on Sports Betting

Organizers at Monografie have confirmed the return of the SAGSE Central America & Caribbean “boutique business fair” in 2026. The event will take place the week before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with a strong focus on the sports betting segment. Following a successful return to Panama, the next edition of SAGSE Central America & Caribbean is scheduled for June 3rd and 4th, 2026, and will once again be held at the Sortis Hotel, Casino & Convention Center.

Strategic Timing

Organizers emphasized the strategic timing of the event, stating that it will be held one week before the start of the World Cup and prior to SBC Miami, positioning it as a key commercial meeting point before these major industry events.

This edition will highlight the exponential growth of sports betting in the region, featuring a conference and networking program specifically designed for operators, platforms, data providers, bookmakers, fintech companies, security firms, blockchain technology providers, and regulatory bodies.

SAGSE aims to bring together key players in both land-based and online gaming from Central America and the Caribbean. Participants are expected from Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Aruba, Curaçao, Martinique, Guadeloupe, the Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, and Bermuda.

“In 2025, we achieved a 100% Caribbean attendance filled with real buyers. In 2026, we are reinforcing that base with a total focus on sports betting, business, and regulation in a 5-star environment,” said Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie.

Panama: An Ideal Business Hub

Thanks to Copa Airlines’ Stopover program, international attendees can add between one and seven nights in Panama at no additional cost on their airfare. This makes SAGSE an unmissable event for companies looking to do business in multiple markets from a single destination.

Key benefits for international exhibitors include direct access to operators from over 25 countries, perfect timing before the World Cup and SBC Miami, an exclusive environment with qualified audiences, real opportunities to close deals at the event, and the fact that Panama does not require visas for entry.

SAGSE expressed its gratitude for the support of PROMTUR Panama, ASAJA, the Gaming Control Board (JCJ), the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, and the National Lottery of Beneficence (LNB). These entities were crucial in positioning and supporting the event, solidifying Panama as the capital of responsible, regulated, and high-value gaming in the region.
