Grupo Comar, a Galician company in the gaming sector, will officially open Casino Santiago next Friday, May 16, located in the city of Santiago de Compostela, capital of the autonomous community of Galicia, and which operates as an appendage of the Casino Atlántico of La Coruña.
The venue opened to the public in January of this year with a proposal that combines entertainment, gastronomy, and live music, and became the first casino in Santiago. Now, this inauguration will mark its definitive incorporation into the social, cultural, and leisure life of the city.
According to local media, the inaugural event will bring together representatives from the business sector and Galician social life to celebrate the arrival of a space “that has contributed to the economic and labor revitalization of the city.” Those who wish to attend the inauguration must register at [email protected].
It should be noted that, through its own school of croupiers, the casino has already trained 22 young professionals who are now part of its staff, in addition to generating indirect employment in departments such as administration, marketing, HR, and external services.
Games and entertainment offer
The company highlighted that Casino Santiago has a complete entertainment offer, which includes, among other elements, state-of-the-art slot machines, American roulette tables, blackjack and poker iTable, as well as a sports betting corner and a space reserved for Texas Hold’em poker tournaments.
On a gastronomic level, the establishment has Casino Gourmet, a gastrobar open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., with a modern menu, cocktails, and live music on weekends.
With this new casino, Grupo Comar has a total of 11 venues in Spain and 14 abroad.
