Just over a month after participating in the SBC Summit Rio, The Portuguese company Oddsgate was present at Bis Sigma Americasevent of the sector held in Sao Paulo in early April.
In addition to having its own stand, the company specialized in platforms and solutions for the Igaming sector also presented the report entitled “The Gate to 2050”in which They analyzed the trends for the future of the sector and the main points of the conference program.
Is Oddsgate highlighting a specific solution or service, or its presence in Bis Sigma Americas is more about establishing contacts and looking for new customers and partners?
There are three keywords to define our presence. The first: “consolidation”, consolidate our presence in the Brazilian market, show what our technology isthat in fact we are adapted to all regulations and that we have been working on it for some time.
There is also the question of knowledge. We want to show that we are much more than a technology, a platform. We also have the knowledge we contribute to our clientsfrom the zero day, the implementation of the operation, the regulations, the formation of the equipment, to the operational part.
We can work on certain aspects of the operation of our clients, such as the management of CRM, SEO, CRO and some specific consulting that is sometimes necessary. That is, here we have a very complete and practically 360 degree package.
The third word is “expansion”which is also important to us. In Brazil, we already have seven regulated brandssome more are coming and we have good expansion. And there is also expansion in the sense of being in a market that interests us. We have great ambitions for the Latin American market.
You have been in Oddsgate since 2023. How do you value the growth of the company in this period?
Growth has been enormous, both in billing and in number of employees. I joined to create the marketing team, and at the moment we have a team of 15 people in this short period, only in marketing, and it is planned to grow.
At first we were a very small team, in the company’s team, and Now we are 70 or 80, growing continuously at all levels.
In SBC Summit Rio, you presented the report on Igaming trends by 2050. In Bis Sigma Americas, the CEO of Oddsgate, Tiago Almeida, was in charge of the presentation. In your opinion, how important is a report like this for the market?
We want to show the industry that we have this knowledge and we want to share it, both with our clients and with the industry as a whole. We will have many more initiatives in the coming months.
The study is a forecast, but we know that many things will not be so. The world is very dynamic. Some points are objectively interesting and attention must be paid to certain details that sometimes go unnoticed, such as aging of the population. I think it is a very important point that appears in the study and that the industry will have to analyze sooner or later.
