Betsson Group, a Swedish operator of sports betting and online casino games, has announced its nomination in 11 categories at the Italian Gaming Awards (IGA) 2025. The awards ceremony will take place in Rome on April 9th as part of the Italian Gaming Expo & Conference (IGE).

The event is described as “a special evening to reward excellence in Italian gaming and the best practices in the sector.” The 11 nominations “underscore Betsson’s commitment to industry leadership, innovation, and providing an exceptional customer experience.”

The IGA follows “a thorough and transparent evaluation process, ensuring fair and comprehensive recognition of excellence in the Italian gaming industry.” A panel of industry experts and professionals from various sectors assesses nominees based on factors such as product and service quality, ESG initiatives, compliance, HR policies, inclusion, and innovation.

Last year, at the same awards, Betsson was recognized as Employer of the Year, while its StarCasino brand won the titles of Best Casino Games Operator and Operator of the Year. Additionally, StarCasino.Sport received the award for Best Marketing Campaign. This year, the company is nominated in these categories again and aims to win these awards for the second time.
