Brian Rast Wins Seventh WSOP Bracelet After Miraculous Comeback

After a miraculous comeback, Brian Rast has won his seventh WSOP bracelet in the $10,000 Razz Championship. In the decisive heads-up against Andrew Yeh, he was down to just one big bet, but he still managed to win the tournament.

At the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), several bracelets were awarded last night at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. One of the tournaments that reached its conclusion was the $10,000 Razz Championship, in which Brian Rast and Andrew Yeh needed an unplanned fourth day to reach a decision.

On the third day, Yeh was close to victory several times, but Rast managed to fight back each time. That happened again on the fourth day, as Rast at one point had only one big bet left. After a stunning comeback, Yeh didn’t let himself be thrown off, but he still couldn’t manage to take the last chips.

After a thrilling heads-up, Rast was finally able to decide the tournament in his favor, winning his seventh WSOP bracelet for $306,644. Yeh bizarrely missed his second bracelet and had to settle for $204,423.

Dutch Players Eliminated in Senior’s Event

In Event #48, the $1,000 Senior’s No-Limit Hold’em Championship, three Dutch players returned last night for the third day. For Antoine Vranken, the tournament was quickly over when he went down with queen-jack suited against ace-queen, finishing in 151st place for $5,444.

Marcel Vonk came a lot further, but eventually ran with king-ten suited into pocket kings. He finished in 86th place for $7,361. Not much later, Albert Hoekendijk received the same amount when he couldn’t win with pocket tens against pocket queens.

At the end of the day, there were nineteen players left, who will return to action on Friday evening to crown a winner.

Five Players Remain in $25,000 PLO High Roller

In the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, the deep run of Phil Ivey was the main focus towards the end of day three. The eleven-time bracelet winner had an excellent starting position at the start of the final table on his way to his twelfth WSOP bracelet. However, things went wrong when he lost two big pots in a row against Michael Duek in the last six.

Ultimately, Ivey finished in sixth place for $394,531, while Duek advanced to the final day as second in chips. Dennis Weiss from Germany can start that final day as chipleader, with almost twice as many chips as his nearest competitor.
