Codere Launches New Casino Operating Model in Mexico

Codere Group, a multinational operator in the gaming and sports betting sector, has announced the implementation of its new operating model for casinos, offering a 360-degree experience at the Yak Cauhtémoc venue in Mexico City.

Under the slogan “Where you have fun, enjoy, and win,” the establishment has become the first Codere location to incorporate the new model, which is based on three fundamental pillars: product, process, and staff training.

Marcelo Silva, Co-Director of Operations for Codere Mexico, explained that the gaming tables have been updated, and new slot machines have been added, including the Zitro CONCEPT cabinet, “a very innovative product in the country.”

“In terms of Processes, the re-engineering has been total. We have placed the customer at the center and re-engineered all processes with the aim of providing a 360 experience, from the moment they enter until they leave our facilities,” he elaborated.

The executive emphasized that “Codere is a multinational with a presence in seven countries” and that, out of the 72 active operations in Mexico, this venue was chosen for the new relaunch.

“Between now and the end of the year, we are going to replicate this model in a very large percentage of our venues,” he concluded.
