Dutch Gambling Authority Enforces Penalty Against No Limit Bet’s Parent Company

The Dutch Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit) has proceeded to collect the penalty imposed at the end of 2024 on Techno Offshore Limited, the parent company of No Limit Bet. The gambling company had previously been fined €1.2 million.

On November 27, 2024, the Kansspelautoriteit announced that it had imposed orders subject to penalty payments on two gambling companies illegally operating in the Netherlands. In addition to Novatech Solutions N.V., which operated Qbet, Techno Offshore Limited also received an order subject to a penalty payment. In both cases, the order was for €280,000 per week, up to a maximum of €840,000.

Besides the order subject to a penalty payment, Techno Offshore Limited was also fined in April 2025. Due to violations of gambling legislation with online casinos such as Simple Casino and No Limit Bet, the Kansspelautoriteit decided to impose a fine of €1.2 million on Techno Offshore Limited.

No Response

Now, two months later, the Kansspelautoriteit announces that it has proceeded to collect the previously imposed order subject to a penalty payment. During multiple follow-up checks, it was found that the gambling company had taken no action to cease its violations. Regulators were still able to gamble online from the Netherlands on the gambling sites of Techno Offshore Limited.

On March 4, 2025, the Kansspelautoriteit informed the gambling company that it intended to proceed with collection. In this ‘intended collection decision,’ the illegal online casino was given the opportunity to share its views. However, as with the previous letters from the Kansspelautoriteit, Techno Offshore Limited did not respond again.

Techno Offshore Limited had until Monday, June 9, 2025, to pay the penalty of €840,000.
