Holland Casino Adjusts Opening Hours at Several Locations
Holland Casino will adjust the opening hours of several of its locations next week. Amsterdam Centrum, Breda, Utrecht, Venlo, Enschede, Valkenburg, and Scheveningen will be open until 04:00 instead of 03:00. Holland Casino Rotterdam, like Sloterdijk, will remain open until 05:00, but the table games in Rotterdam will close at 04:00.
It was announced on Thursday that the opening hours of the gaming offerings at Holland Casino Rotterdam would be extended. A day later, it became known that the opening hours of seven other locations would also be adjusted starting next week.
The locations in Amsterdam Centrum, Breda, Utrecht, and Venlo will be open from 10:30 to 04:00. Live table games have unique opening hours per location.

It became clear in early February that the state-owned company would be extending its opening hours. According to the De Unie trade union, employees were concerned about their health as a result of the longer opening hours.
In September of last year, the state-owned company announced that Holland Casino Rotterdam and Amsterdam-West would have new opening hours from January 1, 2025. Since January 1, those two Holland Casino locations are no longer open 24/7 but are open until 05:00.
The optimization of opening hours is partly due to the less positive financial position of Holland Casino. In 2024, Holland Casino achieved a turnover of €784 million, but despite a reduction in operating costs, there was a negative operating result.
