Casino Marina del Sol Chillán Reaches Agreement with Employees

Casino Marina del Sol Chillán has concluded a new negotiation process with its employees, resulting in a collective agreement that will be in effect for three years.

Following dialogue and mediation, the agreement was reached with the Workers’ Union N°1, led by Alejandro Araya Albornoz. It is expected to bring benefits for the workers and consolidate a collaborative culture within the company.

Local media reported that although the negotiation reached a stage of mandatory mediation, requested by the union, it ultimately concluded satisfactorily for both parties.

It was a laborious process, where we were able to achieve more and where everyone was satisfied. We believe that what was agreed upon is beneficial for both parties and also continues to increase the benefits that are already voluntarily granted by MDS,” said the president of the union.

The agreement includes points such as the integration of the agreements into the “SOMOS MDS” Benefits and Recognition Program, strengthening the company’s value proposition and linking incentives to increased productivity.

This aspect, Marina del Sol highlighted, aligns with a vision that seeks to reward the effort and fulfillment of service standards to customers and thus increase the well-being of all collaborators.

Karen Ojeda, General Manager, commented on the agreement: “This is a result that fills us with pride. It is a reflection of what we can achieve when we move forward with respect and a common purpose.”
