2025 World Series of Poker Kicks Off in Las Vegas
The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) began Tuesday night at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Over the next month and a half, a total of one hundred events are scheduled, with the $10,000 Main Event as the highlight.
Poker enthusiasts marked Tuesday as the start of one of the most exciting times of the year. The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) commenced at 9:00 PM at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
The first tournament of the year is Day 1 of the $1,000 Mystery Millions, which features five starting days. Surviving players will return on Sunday for the next stage, where the mystery bounties will be awarded.
The first starting day saw 1,329 players in action. A total of 70 players made it through the 22 levels of thirty minutes, including five-time bracelet winner Brian Yoon.

Event #2: $500 Industry Employees No-Limit Hold’em
The second event to begin on Tuesday was Event #2, the $500 Industry Employees No-Limit Hold’em. This tournament was exclusively for players in the casino industry, resulting in a total field of 914 players.
